The Pharmaceutical Society of Malawi (PHASOM) is a not for profit body of Pharmacy professionals and pharmaceutical institutions (use the same description on the former website just include the word pharmaceutical institutions if not there already) with an objective of fostering high professional standards of pharmacy practice and safeguarding the provision of quality health and pharmaceutical care to the Malawian citizenry.   • Who are We?
    We are a non-profit group of Pharmaceutical professionals registered with the registrar of companies in Malawi.
  • What do we do?
    To maintain the honor and traditions of the pharmaceutical profession and to promote a high standard of professional conduct and Ethics, effect close links between the members of the profession and to facilitate professional contacts between Pharmacists, Pharmacy Assistants, Technologists, and Pharmacy Students, foster a high standard of control over the quality and distribution of drugs and act as an advisory body in the dissemination of knowledge and information about the professional practice.
  • How is our Council Formed?
    The council comprises seven members elected every three years during the Annual General Meeting.The composition of the same shall be the President ,Vice President, Secretary-General, Vice Secretary-General, Treasure General, and two executive members.
